Paper Prints

Jila Art Galleries uses papers from Hahnemühle, including German Etching, Photo Rag Satin, Fine Art Pearl, Photo Rag Bright White, and Bamboo. Paper is selected based on the needs of the piece. Each giclée paper print is prepared with an Epson 9900 wide-format printer, using the latest generation ten-color fine art UltraChrome™ inks to provide the best archival digital reproduction available today. One-inch margins are standard for paper prints. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist.

Metal Prints

The archival qualities, image brilliance, and durability of metal prints set them apart from other print mediums. Our metal prints are created using a sophisticated dye sublimation process that produces stunning, long-lasting, archival quality pieces that are extremely lightweight, scratch, fade, fire, and water resistant, with unsurpassed color brilliance and vibrance. Expect sixty to seventy years indoors. Metal prints are offered in both high-gloss and matte finishes. Specify your preference in the space provided at checkout time.

Preparation

Sizing

Each print size offering is keyed to the original dimensions of the digital negative, and are specified by the artist. All sizes represent the size of the actual print area, excluding borders. If the border contains information relevant to the piece, however, such as a signature, that border is included in the listed size. If you require a specific size that is not listed, please contact us prior to ordering.

Each print is prepared individually, and in general there is no additional charge for the preparation of a custom size within the range of sizes offered. Prices for custom sizes can be approximated by comparing the size you need with prices associated with the sizes listed for each piece. Larger sizes may be possible than those listed for some pieces. Contact us with questions about sizing your print.

Limited Editions

All pieces printed on paper are numbered and signed by the artist. Pieces printed on metal cannot be subsequently signed and numbered, but every piece is shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity that has been signed by the artist or by an authorized signatory.

All print editions are limited in numeric size to the figure indicated, regardless of the print media selected. Edition sizes are specified by the artist.

Custom prints will be associated with the edition that is closest in size to the piece, and numbered accordingly.
